Panama repeat as Central American Champions, but the rivals are closing in

Honduras went home with a positive note

MANAGUA, Nicaragua, December 5, 2008.- Honduras defeated Belize in straight sets (25-22, 25-12, 25-15) in a match featuring the two winless teams in the Norceca-E FIVB Men’s World Championships second round. The winners outblocked their opponents 12-3.   Honduran Fabrizzio Matamoros scored 16 points and Wilfredo Lopez added 12, including six blocks. MANAGUA, Nicaragua, December 4, 2008.- Panama got an easy victory against winless Honduras improving to a 4-1 win-loss record in the Norceca-A FIVB Men’s World Championship Tournament second round.
